Darby Patterson

I am a professional Web Content Writer and creator of Really Affordable Web sites that pay my mortgage. My passions are art, music and writing. I do bronze sculptures and 2 of my children are also working artists and the other is a great writer and mom. My 2 grandchildren carry on the family tradition! (really! scholarship winner and contest winner). I DO believe in creative genes and am so happy to have contributed a few.

I'm very interested in health and aging issues and serve as a commissioner on a local government body dealing with such issues. I like to write about these topics and raise awareness about the potential for those of us over 50 to enjoy healthy, extended longevity. I'm very pleased to use Hubs to disseminate information about this and other topics of interest.

I'm hoping to display some photos of  our family art instead of my mugshot - so I hope you enjoy the show as I post it. I live in sunny California, was born in COLD Winona, Minnesota and do NOT have that accent. But am glad to have grown up a midwest girl!
